Mary Ellen Korby

My name is Mary Ellen Korby and I am thrilled to join the Odyssey Crew as one of the Kindergarten Crew Leads. I grew up in Louisville, Colorado and graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in Saint Peter, Minnesota with a degree in Elementary Education. After graduating, I taught preschool at Countryside Montessori in Boulder, Colorado for 2 years. For the past 11 years I taught kindergarten at Tollgate Elementary School of Expeditionary Learning in Aurora, Colorado. I am passionate about creating experiences where primary learners have the opportunity to explore the world through wonder and learn through joyful experiences. I am excited for a school year full of collaboration, adventure, and learning. Outside of school I enjoy walking my dog, baking, and spending time with my family and friends.
